Accessories

Kaltis® supplies a full range of accessories for all your requirements. Some accessories are factory installed and must be specified with your order. Others could be installed on site by a service engineer.

Accessories can improve freezer function, convenience and safety.

Please note that:

• Alarms, monitors and backup systems which are directly connected to the freezer electrical system may have a marginal effect on amperage ratings; In some cases, an accessory may require a power source with greater breaker capacity than listed in the freezer specification.
• For more information contact your sales representative.

Plate tags on all Kaltis® freezers contain the model and serial numbers, as well as voltage information required for accessory selection and warranty purposes.

• It is recommended that accessories are ordered when your freezer is ordered.
• Contact Kaltis® for assistance with product selection, accessory configuration, or application information.

Validation Testing Program

Kaltis® validation testing services, prior to shipping, can fast track in house Installation Qualification (IQ), Operation Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) programs on delivery. Kaltis® factory validation services include documentation and performance reports, compressor and sub-system component specifications, microprocessor flow diagrams, software specifications and more. Validation must be requested when ordering; For details contact Kaltis®, or your nearest distributor.

 

Temperature Recorder

A 6"(15.2cm) circular chart, 7 day circular chart recorder, using pressure-sensitive chart paper. One box of 50 charts is included.

NEW: Digital recorder now available.

Temperature recorders should be factory fitted, but can also be retro-fitted.

Back-Up System

Backup systems inject LCO2 or LN2 when the internal cabinet temperature warms up to a pre-set level.

• Back up systems are available for both Prime and Merit series. These can be factory fitted, or retro-fitted.
• Liquid flow is automatically shut off when the freezer door or lid is opened.
• All parameters are fed back to, and controlled by the freezer controller
• Activation set points are lower than the high alarm setting.
• The system operates from a rechargeable battery, and includes all hardware except the gas supply cylinder.

 

Remote Phone Alarm (RPA)

Multiple freezers can be connected. High/low alarm and power failure events are communicated by telephone.

• Built in backup battery: Also dials a phone number on power failure.
• Setting by normal key pad phone

RS232 Communication Port

For Merit and Prime series. Allows the remote control of a single freezer. Maximum distance: 10m

RS485 Communication Port

Optional. Allows the remote monitoring and control of the freezer.. Maximum distance: 1000M. Up to 99 freezers can be connected.

 

Monitoring Software

For remote monitoring, control, and data logging of freezer operation data. Maximum of 99 freezers can be connected to 1 PC through this port. ( Only 1 freezer can connect to 1 PC through an RS232 port).

• Display of freezer temperature, time and event history.
• Numeric and curve temperature display
• All parameters can set through the PC

Temperature Probes

Additional temperature probe can be fitted to the alarm system. These are factory installed and must be specified with the order. Additional temperature sensors installed in Prime series products can be incorporated in the control panel. A maximum of three probes can be installed to detect sample temperature, or cabinet temperature uniformity.

 

Export Packaging

Reinforced, solid wood crating is essential to protect the product from damage during transit. Fumigation and full certification is supplied
